What is "Blended" Life Insurance?
Blended life insurance is a progressive style of life insurance coverage initially involving different types of coverage designed to afford you with more flexibility in the underwriting process. Most life insurance policies cannot be issued without submitting to a medical exam first, subjecting you to a litany of medical underwriting procedures, including the oft-dreaded medical exam. Once you've gone through all the trouble, a policy may not even be issued and no or limited coverage is provided while you wait.
Get life insurance in as little as 24 hours! Start Today >>Fidelity Life Association has developed an innovative solution to medical underwriting requirements. Why not put your coverage in force first? Hybrid Life starts out as a blend of Accidental Death and "All Cause" life insurance (covering death from any cause)*. A medical exam is completely optional, and Hybrid Life gives you a full six months to decide whether or not you want to do this. If your medical exam is consistent with the information you report on your application and you qualify for our preferred rating class, then the "Accidental Death" portion of your life insurance may shift entirely to your "All Cause" coverage and – regardless of the cause of death* – your beneficiary will receive the maximum benefits available under the policy.
If the medical exam is optional with Hybrid Life, then why choose to do it?
The unique benefit of Fidelity Life's Hybrid Life is that you're not obligated to receive a medical exam. If you choose to do so you can increase the amount of benefits afforded to the "all cause" portion of your policy. This means that you'll receive the maximum benefit available under your policy, regardless of the cause of death*.
Whatever you decide, Fidelity Life gives you a full six months to submit to an exam. This gives you sufficient time to improve your health for the maximum benefit of your policy.
